Great to meet you!

I am Page Harper, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have been helping clients learn about themselves and find root causes to the challenges in their lives for over 15 years. I have worked with clients of all ages and in various settings from private practice, psychiatric hospital, inpatient substance abuse programs and homeless shelters. I am skilled in individual, couples and family counseling.

My approach to therapy

I have a more casual, down to earth approach to therapy. I want to create a space where the client feels comfortable being vulnerable and transparent so they can get the help they need. I am an eclectic therapist and pull tools from various theories. Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family/Marital Therapy, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Christian Counseling, and Family Systems.

What you can expect from me

In the first session we will discuss the current issues that brought them to therapy, their background information/history, any past traumas/losses, past mental health or medical diagnosis, current medications prescribed, and set their therapy goals. To finish up the session I would share with them what to expect in the therapy process, how to contact me, what to do in an emergency and how to schedule their next session. I typically assign homework, because I find this improves the effectiveness of therapy.
