Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I'd like to empower your wellness and growth through evidence-based support. Together we will mutually create a plan to help you and/or your family live a more stable and satisfactory life! I have 5 years of experience working as a therapist for the State of Nevada- Division of Child and Family Services (2016-2021) and have spent the past 5 years working for Dallas ISD's Mental Health Services Program. I have extensive clinical experience providing compassionate care to address trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, child & teen issues, women's issues, and family conflict.

My approach to therapy

My number one goal is to help you feel secure and supported so we can truly address "the hard stuff". In individual therapy, I'll be there to listen to your needs, empower you to take healthy action, and help you build tangible skills to take on life's challenges. In child-parent family therapy, I work with parents and youth to address behavioral concerns and conflict in order to strengthen family relationships. In couple-focused family therapy, we will work heavily on addressing the core of your conflicts, build communication skills to reduce arguments, and practice skills to enhance empathy and trust.

What you can expect from me

In our introductory session, I'll create a comfortable environment so you feel secure in sharing your story and goals for therapy. I hope to show you my genuine attitude, caring support, occasional humor, and overall respect for your own expertise on who you are and what will be best for you. I look forward to working with you to help you live a happy, healthy and thriving life!
