Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Paige Loria, M.A., LPC. I completed my bachelors degree in psychology with a concentration in mental health in 2020 from Southern New Hampshire University and my Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2023 from Texas State University. I have experience working in outpatient DBT with both adults and teens treating mood disorders, personality disorders, chronic suicidal ideation and self injury behavior. I worked in a partial hospitalization program helping individuals with Complex PTSD, DID and OSDD, and have also spend some time working with teens and young adults who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and struggle with Depression, Anxiety, difficulty with family of origin, ADHD, Eating Disorders, racial trauma and the trauma associated with being part of a marginalized group. I utilize aspects of both CBT and DBT in every day practice and am trained in EMDR and ERP for OCD.

I believe that you have all you need inside you to be exactly who you want to be. My job is to help you uncover that strength and ability through listening to you and all your parts, asking questions and accepting you unconditionally for who you are. We will work together to uncover the beliefs about yourself that you have formed over time through life experiences, begin to challenge them, help all parts of you learn to feel safe, and work to form new beliefs and add new ways of coping that benefit you in the here and now to build the life you want for yourself.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a relational approach to help you explore what you need to explore while offering direct but warm challenges to internal templates that may be keeping you stuck. I practice the type of therapy the individual needs whether that is DBT, CBT, EMDR, ERP or relational, trauma focused, therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will always be a getting to know you experience. Its for you to get to know me and me to get to know you and decide together if we would be a good match! It's not just about whether I think we could do good work together but its for you to decide too! Afterall, no one knows you better than you know yourself. My goal for a first session is just to establish our partnership and decide together what your goals are and how to reach them.
