Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, understood for who you are, and free from judgment. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Philosophy at Duquesne University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University. I have worked in the mental health field for about five years, including three years in a psychiatric hospital, and have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Throughout my career, I've supported clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and other challenges. I enjoy getting to know each person and understanding the experiences, relationships, and circumstances that have shaped who they are.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize the changes you want to make, and find a way forward that feels meaningful to you. I believe change is possible, even when it isn't always easy, and you don't have to navigate it alone.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered and collaborative approach, meeting you where you are and tailoring therapy to your needs and goals. I draw from approaches such as CBT, DBT, attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, ERP, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.

I believe our emotions, relationships, experiences, and values all play a role in how we understand ourselves. I also believe there is power in sharing your story. Therapy can be a place to make sense of what you’ve experienced, build coping skills, understand patterns, strengthen relationships, and work through the things that may be holding you back.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and you don’t have to know exactly what you need before you begin. We can start wherever you are, take things at your pace, and figure out the next steps together.

I bring a naturally warm, outgoing, and genuine energy to the therapy room. I enjoy getting to know my clients as people and believe therapy can hold space for meaningful conversations, difficult moments, and a little lightheartedness along the way. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself without feeling like you have to have everything figured out.

Therapy isn’t always easy, but you won’t have to navigate it alone. I’ll be there for the challenges, progress, and setbacks, offering support and guidance while giving you space to lead the process.
