Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Palesa Osei-Tutu and I am what I like to call a change agent. I support and facilitate change and healing through my work. I am a proud graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology with minor in sociology in 2001. I am also a proud graduate of Howard University where I received my master's in social work with a concentration in mental health in 2004. I provide counseling support to people ages 16 and older with significant experience in working with families and individuals experiencing grief and loss as well as ending generational trauma. I am a trauma informed provider and have extensive experience working with military dependents, 1 generation immigrants as well as therapy for therapists, helpers and caretakers.

My approach to therapy

I use a systemic approach to therapy. What the means is, I pay attention to the system in which a person lives in, grew up in or is influenced by that may contribute to how they perceive and react to the world, themselves and others.

What you can expect from me

Clients will always feel seen, heard and will walk away from sessions experiencing some healing, clarity, awareness or a better understanding of who they are.
