Great to meet you!

“You cannot pour from an empty cup.” You have to take care of yourself before you take care of the rest of your world, and I am here to help you do that. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University, in San Antonio, Texas, and decided to move back to Dallas to further my career. I believe it it’s important to work on educating members of the diversified communities of Dallas on the importance of taking care of their mind as well as their bodies.

My approach to therapy

I am currently an EMDR trained therapist who has experience working with trauma as well as unresolved emotional experiences. I also use solution-focused approaches, as well as cognitive approaches, to guide individuals to a better understanding of their own patterns of thinking. I currently work with individuals struggling with stress, trauma, PTSD, South Asian Cultural Stressors/Trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship conflicts, life changes, and adolescents struggling with adjustment.

What you can expect from me

I want to work on guiding individuals to learn how to manage their daily life struggles, depression, stress, anxiety, loss, and adjustment. I myself have had to do a lot of self-exploration to find my place as a South Asian American and what that means to me; I want to be able to share and use my experience to help others as well.
