Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Pam Granado, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through complex life transitions. I specialize in working with justice-involved adolescents and the adults who support them, particularly during re-entry, probation, foster care involvement, and major life transitions.

My professional background includes juvenile justice, foster care and child welfare, healthcare, education, nonprofits, and military-connected communities. I have extensive experience supporting youth and families navigating trauma, emotional regulation, accountability, and the challenges that come with court involvement, placement changes, and reunification. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to process their experiences, build coping skills, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and strengths-based. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, coping skills, and healthy decision-making.

I work closely with adolescents and adults impacted by justice involvement, foster care experiences, and system-related transitions. Therapy with me is structured yet compassionate, with a focus on building insight, accountability, and practical tools that support stability, resilience, and growth. I also have experience working with caregivers and families navigating reunification, placement changes, and re-entry stressors.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a calm, supportive, and judgment-free space. We’ll discuss what’s been happening recently, identify immediate stressors, and begin setting goals that feel realistic and meaningful. For adolescents and families navigating foster care or justice-related transitions, we’ll focus on stabilization, emotional safety, and creating a clear plan for ongoing support.

My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful — with a sense that therapy is a place where real change is possible. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, respectful, and empowering.
