Great to meet you!

I earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD in 1995. Additionally, I received an advanced Certification from Villanova University. I am a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor and have worked in a broad range of settings for over 25 years.

I am a certified Cognitive Behavior Therapist who works primarily with women on their journey to wellness

A bit about my approach to therapy

The establishment of a trusting relationship between the client and therapist is of utmost importance to be able to work together to build a skill set to adapt and overcome life's most difficult challenges in order to create a fulfilling life.

As a Cognitive Behavior Therapist my primary objective is to help a client recognize their pattern of behaviors and challenging their negative thoughts through mindfulness processing.

What you can expect from our first session

Through this journey of self discovery, the focus will be on prioritizing one's needs through acquiring necessary coping mechanisms, self assuredness and effective communication with others.

Therapy can increase overall sense of well-being, build stronger coping and problem-solving skills, strengthen one's resiliency and determination, change behavior, and build stronger interpersonal relationships.
