Great to meet you!

I began my career in nursing. As a seasoned mental health professional I have over 30 years experience in counseling. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Carson-Newman University and a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Human Development with a specialization in Agency Counseling from Troy University. Then I completed 30 semester hours of post-graduate work at the University of the Cumberlands. My experience is in community mental health, school based counseling, and integrated primary care with children, teens, adults, and geriatrics. It is my goal to provide the best care for patients to live their best life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is meeting patients where they are to work on those goals that are important to you while challenging you to achieve all you can to be your best self.

What you can expect from me

I like to create a welcoming environment without judgment or criticism so the hard things aren't so difficult. Being real, addressing all the issues while having an open mind can help you to achieve your therapy goals.
