Great to meet you!

I understand life brings difficulty and frustration. The bottom line is that you deserve to be happy. It is time to take steps in the right direction.

I specialize in helping those who are dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and communication skills. I work with couples, families and individuals of all ages.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 13 years of experience. With a MS degree in Professional Counseling and a Education Specialist Degree in School Counseling, I am ready to take on all ages in all aspects of life.

Everyone is worthy to feel self-confidence, to feel in control of their life and feel true happiness. Today is the day for change

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported while also being gently challenged toward growth and change. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership — one built on trust, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique experiences and goals.

I work from an integrative perspective, meaning I tailor therapy to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on a client’s needs, I may draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and strengths-based therapy. I focus not only on symptom relief, but also on helping clients better understand themselves, improve relationships, build resilience, and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space focused on getting to know them and understanding what brings them to therapy. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable enough to speak openly at their own pace — there is no pressure to share everything immediately.

During the first session, we typically explore what is currently feeling difficult, any important background or life experiences, and what the client hopes to gain from therapy. I also ask questions about emotional well-being, relationships, stressors, coping patterns, and strengths to develop a fuller picture of the person as a whole, not just the challenges they are facing.

I see the first session as the foundation for a collaborative relationship.
