Great to meet you!

Life can feel exhausting when you're carrying anxiety, depression, family stress, trauma, relationship challenges, or responsibilities that leave little room for your own needs. You may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or uncertain about how to move forward. I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, family conflict, relationship issues, anger management concerns, identity exploration, cultural and ethnic issues, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and substance use concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves or struggling to balance the expectations of others with their own well-being. Together, we'll create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, process difficult emotions, build greater self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of coping. My goal is to help you create meaningful change while strengthening your confidence, resilience, and overall emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and practical tools that create lasting change. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions to support healing and growth. In our work together, we may explore anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma responses, family dynamics, relationship difficulties, anger management concerns, identity issues, cultural experiences, substance use challenges, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Therapy is designed to help you gain insight, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, build healthier relationships, and create sustainable progress in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I strive to create a space where you can be honest about your experiences while feeling supported as you work toward change. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that help you move forward with confidence. Through therapy, you may experience reduced anxiety and stress, stronger emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, improved relationships, increased self-awareness, and greater confidence in navigating life's challenges. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, and better equipped to create the life you want.
