I am a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Grounded Mental Health Counseling, PLLC. I graduated from the the Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, the Austin Marxe School of International Relations and Public Affairs at CUNY, and the University of Pennsylvania. I have interned at The Bowery Mission and the Market Street Mission. As a National Certified Counselor, I see patients at an outpatient mental health clinic in NYC, alongside private clients. I am warm and engaging with a desire to walk with you on your mental health journey. I love spending time with my family, trying out new foods, volunteering at church and listening to 80s music. I hope to work with you in whatever life season you are in.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a solution-focused approach, teaming up with clients to develop short-term and long-term goals to improve social, relational and occupational/educational functioning.

I work with clients to identify negative thinking and behavioral patterns to develop greater personal insight and coping strategies in a safe, non-judgmental setting.
