Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Pamela "Paige" Lees. I have been a licensed therapist for 30 years. I have worked with a wide variety of people and together tackled a multitude of life's problems. I have a master's degree in clinical psychology from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. I enjoy working with individuals and I specialize family problems of all kinds.

My approach to therapy

I strive to be empathetic and non-judgmental in all dealings with clients. I am solution focused and supportive of my clients. Change is hard and does not always occur immediately. We all need a safe place to learn to new behaviors without criticism or pressure. I can be directive and offer specific ideas to implement. However, it is always the client's decision.

What you can expect from me

The first session of counseling is usually used to get to know the client and allow them to get to know me. I also like to begin to define the problem, or reason the client has come to therapy. I am always willing to answer any question they may have about my style or background.
