Great to meet you!

Hello,

My name is Pamela McKeown. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping women and couples navigating life's challenges, strengthening , and rebuild self-confidence. Specializing in anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, past trauma, and assertive communication. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can feel truly heard and supported. I work in partnership with clients to develop practical tools for managing daily stress and breaking though negative self- talk while helping couples dismantle destructive communication patterns and build emotional intimacy.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, warm and tailored to your unique goals. Together we will look at root causes of what is holding you back and develop coping skills and reframe narratives to help you reach your therapeutic goals. Whether you are struggling to express your needs, heal from trauma or rebuild trust with a partner, I am here to walk along side of you. Healing is about learning what is holding you back from being whole.

What you can expect from me

My goal for our first session is to create an environment where you feel safe, heard, supported and comfortable. Starting therapy is a courageous step and it is normal to feel mixed emotions.

Your initial appointment is an intake appointment where we will build a foundational understanding of where you are and where you would like to go. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your immediate goals, and any relevant background information. We will move at a pace that is comfortable for you.
