Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist formally trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS); EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing); and Jungian Sand Play. Other therapy styles I incorporate include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Coherent Therapy and Somatic Therapy. Also, I am a Program Assistant trainer through the IFS Institute. I am currently working on my IFS Certification which means I will specialize in Internal Family Systems model of therapy. Populations I serve include: adults, couples, families, children, and teens. I work with the BIPOC community and polyamorous population. Symptoms I treat are: anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, adjustment disorders, borderline personality presentations, dissociative disorders (including DID), ritual and cult abuse recovery, and substance abuse. I love my job as a therapist. I believe it is an honor to assist and guide you out of feeling stuck and into a place of flowing presence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client centered. You are the expert of your life. It is an honor to work with you. I believe my job is to help expand your narrative by introducing new ways of relating to your feelings. By extension, you are empowered to shift how you interact with others and the world around you.

What you can expect from me

Take-a-ways from my sessions include experiencing a sense of being seen, heard, understood, and validated. You receive corrective emotional experiences as you unburden parts that carry pain and hurt. Amazingly, this process changes the synaptic organization of the brain at an organic level.
