Great to meet you!

I have been resolving issues for children, teens and families for over thirty years. I also focus on helping women resolve issues that involve anxiety and depression that result from life's challenges and ongoing transitions. I have an office in North Naples as well as an online therapy practice. Walking sessions at the Greenway or at one of our other beautiful parks is also a therapeutic option. Walking produces forward thinking and positive energy. Move your body and you move your mind. :-)

I look forward to talking with you.

My approach to therapy

I find that Cognitive Emotional Behavioral Therapy to be most effective in understanding why and how we function and interact on a daily basis. In other words, we identify our negative thoughts about ourselves and others. Then we review the strong feelings they tend to produce, such as anxiety, anger and depression. When we can adjust our thoughts we find that our feelings become much more manageable. Mindfulness strategies play an integral part in my therapeutic approach. They help us to calmly manage our thoughts, feelings and our resulting actions.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel confident, that together we are developing a positive direction that will provide hope and improve your personal outlook. We work together to begin developing short and longer-term goals within three areas of personal growth: physical, social and emotional. You will begin to identify and change your strong feelings. You will recognize the thoughts and actions that result from them and learn how to manage them with calming, mindful strategies.
