Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm licensed professional counselor, licensed in Virginia and DC. I've been licensed for 6 years and have been practicing for 10 years. I work with adolescents and adults who are going through life transitions, navigating relationships, exploring their identity, and more. I specialize in ADHD, OCD, and addiction. And I help individuals build self-esteem, find and accept their authentic selves.

My approach to therapy

Starting therapy for the first time can feel intimidating and daunting. I try to make sessions feel conversational, supportive, and non-judgmental. I have experience helping clients identify want they want and come up with a plan on how to get there, such as helping individuals get out of there head and into the moment and identify and let go of any expectations that never served them. I have experience helping others navigate an array of issues and experiences and I have a particular interest in helping people understand and manage OCD and ADHD.

What you can expect from me

I treat the first session as a space to help you feel comfortable, seen, and heard. I want to hear about you and what brings you to therapy. And I also want to know what are your personal goals that I can help you reach.
