Great to meet you!

I’m a compassionate and collaborative therapist dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with understanding, authenticity, and practical tools for change. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, but I tailor each session to meet your individual needs and goals.

I hold my PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification) and am deeply passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions of motherhood. I have extensive experience working with perinatal and postpartum women, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and identity changes during this unique and often demanding season of life.

I received my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have experience working with adults facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and self-worth concerns. I also enjoy working with individuals managing chronic stress, burnout, or codependency patterns.

Together, we’ll focus on helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to help you uncover patterns, build insight, and develop tools that empower you to create meaningful change.

I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also integrating mindfulness, solution-focused, and person-centered techniques. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged to grow at your own pace.

In our work together, I focus on helping you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and improve emotional regulation. We’ll explore not just how to get through difficult moments, but also how to build a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Clients often describe my style as down-to-earth, empathetic, and encouraging. I believe therapy should feel like a safe conversation where healing, clarity, and confidence can naturally unfold.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. I know starting therapy can feel intimidating, so we’ll take things at your pace.

We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to get out of it, and explore some background to help me better understand your story. I often focus on identifying your current challenges, goals, and strengths so we can start building a plan together.

By the end of our session, my hope is that you’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and with a sense of direction for our work ahead.
