Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Pardeep Gill, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Vanderbilt University graduate. I work with children, adults, and geriatric patients experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, sleep difficulties, and other mental health concerns.

I understand how discouraging it can feel when anxiety interferes with your daily life, ADHD makes responsibilities overwhelming, depression takes away your motivation, or mood changes leave you feeling unlike yourself. My goal is to help you understand what you are experiencing and develop a treatment plan that feels practical, personalized, and manageable.

My approach to therapy

I listen first and prescribe thoughtfully. Before recommending medication, I want to understand the full picture, including your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, sleep, daily routines, relationships, cultural background, and previous treatment experiences.

When medication may be helpful, I will explain your options in clear, straightforward language: what the medication is intended to improve, how long it may take to work, possible side effects, and when we might adjust the plan. My approach combines careful medication management with supportive therapy, education, and practical lifestyle strategies.

Your treatment should feel like a partnership. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and telling me when something is not working. Together, we will make thoughtful decisions based on your needs, goals, culture, and preferences.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for me to understand you as a whole person, not simply a list of symptoms. We will discuss what you have been experiencing, how it affects your daily life, what you hope will improve, and what treatments you have tried before, including medications that were ineffective or caused unwanted side effects.

By the end of the session, you will have a clear understanding of my recommendations and the next steps. If medication is appropriate, we will review what to expect, how we will monitor your progress, and when we will follow up. If medication is not the best option, I will be honest about that and help guide you toward care that may be more beneficial.

My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful with a clear treatment plan designed around you.
