Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Paris Patton and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and self-esteem.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and person-centered techniques to support clients in building insight, developing coping skills, and making meaningful changes. I work alongside clients to clarify goals, understand patterns, and strengthen their ability to navigate challenges.

What you can expect from me

What can clients expect from their first session with you?

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your personal history, your current concerns, and what you hope to accomplish through counseling. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll identify your goals and begin developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs, strengths, and values. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you move toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
