Great to meet you!

I am not the therapist that will tell you what you want to hear, but instead what is needed so you can grow! Hello! My name is Parish Richard (ree-shard) and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensed in the states of Kentucky and Ohio. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have experience working with adults, families, children, and adolescents. I have worked with clients of all backgrounds and have helped individuals concerning a variety of different issues. I utilize strategies catered to my clients based on their unique individual needs.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in EMDR, motivational interviewing, and I pull from various other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems, and Reality Therapy, but definitely aren't limited to only these.

Everything is connected when it comes to the different pillars of life. We must show up for ourselves internally to reflect a better version of ourselves externally.

What you can expect from me

Honesty! I want to see you succeed! We will figure out together what goals you believe are best for you.
