Curiosity has brought me through the worlds of professional photography and journalism to counseling. I frequently use my past professions to see and communicate in my newfound professional home of listening. Those skills help me hear the story you bring, honor the journey you are on, and build a foundation for the road you would like to pursue.

A large part of my process is forming a strong working relationship with clients to find where they find fulfillment, derive meaning, and how they exist in the "here and now." I'm a firm believer that the stories we tell ourselves play a massive part in how we navigate life's chaotic nuances. I want to help clients decide what stories no longer serve them and which are inhibiting them from becoming the individual they deserve to be.

Together we will examine past behaviors, relationships, and stories you've been holding onto that may be inhibiting today's growth. Building primarily on an existential and stoic philosophical and theoretical framework I actively incorporate contemporary research, ecotherapy and the outside world, CBT, DBT, and person-centered techniques for individuals, families, adolescents, and couples.
