Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling stuck in cycles you understand intellectually but can’t seem to change, you’re not failing—your nervous system may be doing its job a little too well. Many people I work with are navigating big life shifts, self-doubt, or patterns of self-sabotage rooted in earlier experiences. Therapy can help you slow things down, understand what’s driving these patterns, and reconnect with your ability to choose a different path forward.

I work with people who are ready to look honestly at what’s been holding them back. Sessions are supportive, curious, and direct, with a focus on how past experiences and the nervous system shape current habits—and how real, embodied change becomes possible over time.

If something in this resonates, I invite you to take the next step. You can learn more and schedule a session through my website. We can meet and explore what it might feel like to finally move into a new way of being.

My approach to therapy

I use the framework of EMDR to work with various issues, even if we aren't strictly doing trauma work. EMDR combines the mental, emotional, and somatic elements of our experiences to get to a more nervous-system level of change. If we aren't doing work on the past, this looks like taking present challenges and working with these 3 aspects to find new ways of facing things.

What you can expect from me

I give you the space to share what you feel comfortable with while organizing things into 5 areas of life: current challenges, ways of coping, environment, trauma, and biology (health, meds, past diagnoses, etc). We don't get to all of those and sometimes we focus more on just one area, but that gives us a sense of understanding how things connect and where to start.

I am fairly open and willing to share about myself and get to know you on a personal level as well.
