Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a degree from Phillips Graduate Institute in California. I have extensive clinical experience working with children (using play therapy), individuals, families, couples, and groups. My therapeutic approach focuses on identifying and addressing underlying issues, empowering clients to navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create lasting positive change. I am bilingual in English and Farsi, which allows me to support a diverse range of clients with cultural sensitivity and understanding.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I have specialized training in working with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, domestic violence, and trauma. I believe that every individual’s journey is different, and therapy should reflect that.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. By integrating these approaches, I help clients gain insight, develop practical tools, and build on their strengths to create meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

  1. In our first therapy session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and feel heard. The main focus of this initial meeting is to build a strong therapeutic relationship and gain a clear understanding of your needs, concerns, and goals. This session is also an opportunity for us to get to know each other, establish trust, and lay the foundation for our work together. Your comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and I’m committed to collaborating with you every step of the way to support meaningful growth and positive change.
