Patience Madu

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong foundation in outpatient psychiatric care, as well as addiction treatment. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, psychotic disorders, substance use, and sleep disorders, with a focus on accurate diagnosis and individualized medication management. I have extensive experience supporting individuals in managing complex mental health conditions across diverse clinical settings. My Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree allows me to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care.

My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and grounded in respect, and empathy. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I focus on individualized treatment planning, combining evidence-based medication management with supportive therapeutic techniques. I believe in empowering clients through education, shared decision-making, and a holistic understanding of their mental health to help clients achieve meaningful and sustainable improvements in their mental health.

During the first session, clients can expect a calm, welcoming space where we explore their concerns, history, and goals for treatment. I take time to understand each person’s unique experiences and symptoms to develop a personalized care plan. Clients can expect a thorough psychiatric evaluation, open dialogue, and the opportunity to ask questions about their treatment options. My goal is for every client to leave their first session feeling supported, informed, and confident in the direction of their care.
