Great to meet you!

My name is Patience, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate (DNP-c) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and substance use disorders.I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy while working collaboratively with each client to develop individualized treatment plans. My approach is holistic, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive, recognizing the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that influence mental health.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy to support healing and resilience. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in achieving their mental health and wellness goals.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit, the focus will be on getting to know you in a supportive and comfortable environment. We will discuss your concerns, review your mental health and medical history, and complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to understand your needs better.

Follow-up visits will focus on monitoring your progress, evaluating how treatment is working, and making adjustments when necessary to support your goals. These sessions provide an opportunity to discuss any changes in symptoms, review medications as needed, and continue building wellness strategies.

I encourage open communication, and you are always welcome to ask questions or share concerns. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and hopeful.
