Great to meet you!

Welcome!

I’m Patrice Douglas, LCSW, a warm and supportive therapist who specializes in helping teens navigate anxiety, confidence, relationships, school stress, and the challenges of growing up. My goal is to create a judgment-free space where teens feel heard, understood, and empowered to build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and feel more comfortable being themselves.

My approach to therapy

I believe the therapeutic relationship works best when it's collaborative, and I am here to be your partner in your journey. I want to understand your perspective and work with you to identify what is getting in the way of feeling your best. Together we will explore thoughts and patterns that contribute to anxiety or low self-esteem, practice coping and emotional-regulation skills, work on communication and boundaries, or process experiences that have been difficult to navigate.

I incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches while keeping sessions practical and relatable. My goal is not simply to help teens get through a difficult moment, but to help them develop skills and self-awareness that they can carry with them as they grow.

What you can expect from me

I provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where teens can talk openly, work through challenges, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to cope with whatever life is bringing their way.
