Patrice completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Queens College, and She has four (4) years of experience providing counseling. Patrice has worked with youths, teens, young adults, adults, and the elderly. Patrice continued her training at the Family and Children's Association and Catholic Charities, providing family counseling to youths and adults.

A bit about my approach to therapy

She utilizes CBT and person-centered therapy to assist patients in exploring their triggers and coping skills while helping them on their journey. Patrice has experience treating clients with Life changes, internal struggles, self-esteem, self-actualization and exploration, personal growth, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, anger, stress, acceptance and control, trauma, PTSD, grief/loss, substance use, and addictions, communication, and interpersonal issues.

Patrice practices strength-based therapy and positive psychology, highlighting the client's strengths and building on successes. She views each individual as a person with their own story. Patrice's goals are to help clients meet their best selves. She likes to help her clients develop a sense of autonomy and develop coping skills to address needs.
