My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is an eclectic mix of solution focused, behavioral, and emotionally focused therapy. I believe that individuals, couples and families have the solutions to bring about the outcomes they desire. My solution focused approach assists clients with exploring possibilities in the absence of the problem. My behavioral approach assists clients with identifying desired change by defining therapy goals in concrete and measurable ways. My emotionally focused approach assists clients with getting to the heart of the matter by exploring the primary emotions associated with their experiences.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy is an opportunity for self-exploration. It is my goal to join clients with making the journey a meaningful process while facilitating an emotionally safe environment. Most clients experience measurable change within ten sessions or less. Our first session together will focus on information gathering, assessment and goal planning.
