Great to meet you!

Life has a way of throwing challenges our way that can feel impossible to navigate alone, but you don't have to carry that weight by yourself. With over 30 years of experience as a therapist, I have worked with individuals of all ages—from young children to seniors—helping them find clarity through life’s most difficult transitions. Whether you are dealing with relationship struggles, depression, or the complexities of grief and trauma, my goal is to provide a steady presence that helps you find your way back to yourself. I feel privileged to help my clients achieve their goals and improve their lives by drawing on both my clinical training and the wisdom gained from decades of practice.

I believe that true healing happens when you have a space to speak freely with someone who isn't connected to your daily life or family circle. I bring a blend of professional expertise and extensive life experience to our sessions, which allows me to understand the nuances of the human experience beyond just a clinical lens. Outside of my work in the office, I enjoy staying active in the local community and find that a balanced life helps me show up fully for those I serve. I want my clients to feel safe and empowered during their time with me, knowing they have an experienced advocate committed to their well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical and centered on finding real solutions to the problems you are facing today. I don’t believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all method; instead, I use an eclectic blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused strategies to meet your specific needs. Whether we are working through family difficulties, parenting challenges, or substance abuse recovery, the focus is always on creating tangible progress. I hope that my clients will be able to positively grow while working together by discovering new ways to manage stress and improve their relationships.

We will work collaboratively to identify the patterns that are holding you back and develop a roadmap for the future. I believe in a transformative process where we look at the whole picture—your history, your current environment, and your goals for the future. Clients should expect to feel heard and supported throughout our time together as we navigate the path toward emotional balance and personal strength.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to be a low-pressure introduction where we can begin to understand your unique situation and needs. We will start by discussing what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve, ensuring that you feel comfortable with the process from the very beginning. I want this to be a space where you can speak openly without judgment, knowing that our time together is dedicated entirely to your growth.

I see myself as a facilitator in your journey, helping you unlock the solutions that often already exist within you. We will set clear expectations and talk about how we can work together to tackle issues like anxiety, anger management, or loss of control. By the end of our first meeting, my hope is that you feel a sense of relief and a renewed sense of hope for the road ahead.
