Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with ten years of experience. I completed my Master's in Counseling Psychology at CSU Stanislaus and have worked within county mental health, non-profit organizations, school districts, and private practice. I am based in Sacramento and work exclusively via telehealth, with availability on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. My focus has centered on helping people recover from difficult or unhealthy relationships, navigate anxiety and life transitions, and understand the patterns that keep showing up in how they relate to others and themselves. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, and I try to bring both warmth and humor to the work I do.

My approach to therapy

I am a person-centered therapist who believes in your autonomy. I hope to help you develop your own goals, examine whether your current patterns are aligned with who you want to be, and start releasing the expectations that were never yours to carry in the first place. I draw from attachment-based work, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and interpersonal approaches, and I tailor the work to what makes most sence for you.

What you can expect from me

You deserve a space where you can be honest about what you are carrying without judgment. In an initial session, we will spend time reviewing the legal and ethical components of therapy services, and then we will spend time exploring your social, emotional, and relational experiences. We will identify your current and historical mental health symptoms and behaviors to establish a plan that best supports your goals for improvement and change.
