Great to meet you!

I am a Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy with 13 years of experience in the mental health field and a decade of focused clinical practice. As a dual-licensed clinician (MFT and MHC) and a nationally rostered Trauma-Informed Child-Parent Psychotherapist, I have spent over 10 years advocating for at-risk populations. I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, children, and families navigating significant stressors or trauma. Your services with me are a collaborative team effort, utilizing a holistic, wraparound approach to support your mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will always be met exactly where you are with empathy and understanding.

A Note on Family/Couples Services:

I no longer accept insurance for couple/family therapy. Insurance companies typically require a singular "identified patient" and a mental health diagnosis to authorize payment. I believe that in family and couples work, the relationship is the focus, not a diagnosis. My approach is rooted in the systemic principle that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Effectively treating a relationship requires looking at the entire "picture," which includes the patterns, history, and interactions between you, rather than focusing on a single person in isolation.

Note: If you decide to use your OON benefits, please remember you will be responsible for accessing your superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I continue to proudly accept insurance for all individual therapy sessions.

My approach to therapy

I am an advocate and practice "being with" my clients in all of their emotions: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Especially the Ugly. Because that is often the most protective part of someone showing up in the world, because they had to. My approach is to walk with you as you face, heal, and release the Ugly, as it no longer defines who you are.

What you can expect from me

I am the one honored to be in your space, listening to your story, and supporting YOUR decision to do YOUR work. I show up as my authentic self and you will be encouraged to do the same. There may be laughter or tears. Our first meeting is focused on getting to know each other and creating a safe space.
