Great to meet you!

With over 40 years in the mental health field — first as a master's-level therapist and later as a psychologist — I've had the privilege of supporting people through some of life's most difficult moments. My experience spans individual therapy, crisis intervention (providing immediate support during mental health emergencies), and disaster human services (helping communities recover after traumatic events like natural disasters).

But my work is only one part of who I am. I'm also a mom, a grandma, an active member of my community, and a proud dog lover. These parts of my life have given me a deep appreciation for the everyday challenges people face — and they shape the way I show up for my clients. I see the world through real-life experiences, not just textbooks, and I bring that perspective into every session.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My role is to walk alongside you — creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to explore what's on your mind.

Over the years, I've focused on helping clients see things from a fresh perspective, tap into strengths they may not realize they have, and build practical tools for moving forward. Whether you're working through a difficult season or looking to grow into a more resilient, content version of yourself, we'll work together to get you there.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about more than just gathering information — it's about getting to know you as a person. I want to understand how you see the world, what matters most to you, and what you're hoping to gain from therapy.

From there, we'll start shaping goals together so our work has a clear direction from the very beginning. There's no pressure to have it all figured out — that's what we're here to do together.
