Great to meet you!
With over 40 years in the mental health field — first as a master's-level therapist and later as a psychologist — I've had the privilege of supporting people through some of life's most difficult moments. My experience spans individual therapy, crisis intervention (providing immediate support during mental health emergencies), and disaster human services (helping communities recover after traumatic events like natural disasters).
But my work is only one part of who I am. I'm also a mom, a grandma, an active member of my community, and a proud dog lover. These parts of my life have given me a deep appreciation for the everyday challenges people face — and they shape the way I show up for my clients. I see the world through real-life experiences, not just textbooks, and I bring that perspective into every session.
