Great to meet you!

I hold an LMHC as well as an M.S.Ed in School Counseling. My training has foundations in multiculturalism and mindfulness. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and life transitions. I have vast experience working with a diverse ethnic populations including adults children with developmental disabilities and folks that identify as LGBTQ.

My approach to therapy

Compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a strong client-centered approach to therapy. My treatment is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I specialize in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With extensive experience integrating evidence-based practices, I tailor treatment using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I am passionate about fostering resilience and personal growth, helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and emotion regulation difficulties.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where they feel truly heard and supported. I work from a client-centered foundation, meaning that I honor each person’s unique experiences, values, and pace in the therapeutic process. Together, we identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies to promote healing, insight, and lasting change.

My clients often leave from sessions with greater self-awareness, improved coping skills, and deeper understanding of how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP, I help clients build resilience, regulate emotions, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and reduce anxiety or avoidance behaviors. My goal is to empower clients with tools they can use both inside and outside of therapy to live more fulfilling, balanced lives.
