Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience supporting adults navigating trauma, substance use, life transitions, and the feeling that they have lost touch with who they are. As a U.S. Navy veteran, I bring both professional training and personal familiarity with military culture and the ways PTSD can affect identity, relationships, and daily life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, drawing from person-centered therapy, Internal Family Systems–informed work, EMDR, and breathwork. Together, we will create space to understand where you are, reconnect with yourself, and find a way forward that feels honest and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that understanding where you are comes before deciding where you need to go. I offer a space where clients can slow down, explore their experiences without judgment, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been lost, silenced, or overwhelmed. My work is trauma-informed and person-centered, incorporating EMDR, Internal Family Systems–informed therapy, breathwork, and practical coping skills based on each client’s needs. I especially enjoy working with adults navigating trauma and PTSD, substance use and recovery, identity concerns, relationship patterns, and significant life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, grounded conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy and what feels most important right now. I believe in orientation before advice, so we will take time to explore where you are, what you have been carrying, and what you hope might be different—without pressuring you to share more than you are ready to share. Together, we will begin identifying meaningful, practical goals and discuss what kind of support may fit you best. My intention is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and clearer about the path ahead.
