Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with a Doctorate in Professional Counseling from Mississippi College and nearly 15 years of experience supporting individuals, families, children, and adolescents in both individual and group therapy settings. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of sitting with people through some of their most difficult and transformative moments, and I bring empathy, patience, and genuine care to every session.

My clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and behavioral health concerns across a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and life circumstances. Two populations are especially close to my heart: children and adolescents experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges, and women healing from trauma. I understand how overwhelming these experiences can feel, and I am deeply committed to helping clients reclaim their strength, find hope, and move toward healing. I believe healing is possible for everyone, and I consider it an honor to be trusted as part of that journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based methods and adapt them to fit the unique needs of each person I work with. I do not believe that two people heal in exactly the same way, so treatment is always individualized and centered on your goals, strengths, and experiences.

I incorporate approaches including Parent-Child Relationship Training, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Whether we are working through trauma, behavioral concerns, emotional challenges, or relationship difficulties, my goal is to provide practical tools, strengthen resilience, and help clients move forward with confidence and intention.

What you can expect from me

Choosing to begin therapy takes courage, and my first priority is helping you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. Our first session will focus on understanding what brought you to therapy, what life has been like for you recently, and what you hope will be different moving forward.

My practice centers on the person, not the problem. I want to help you identify your strengths, build hope, and find healing at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where meaningful change can happen.
