Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work and over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. A deep curiosity about human behavior and a strong belief in the power of personal growth and development shaped my path to becoming a therapist. I started my career in community mental health, which gave me the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of challenges—from anxiety and depression to trauma and life transitions.

Over the years, I’ve developed a special focus on helping adults navigate stress, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and adjustment to change. I also have training in trauma-informed care and enjoy working with clients who are healing from past wounds while building healthier patterns in the present. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

I strive to create a supportive space where individuals feel heard, empowered, and safe to explore whatever they’re facing. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just looking to better understand yourself, I’m here to help you move toward greater clarity and balance.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to support you in uncovering your strengths, gaining insight, and making meaningful changes. I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals.

I work to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply seeking personal growth, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build tools for resilience, clarity, and self-compassion.

Above all, I believe therapy should feel empowering, not overwhelming. I see our work as a partnership—one rooted in trust, curiosity, and a shared commitment to your growth.

What you can expect from our first session

Individuals can expect to leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, practical tools for coping, and a sense of being genuinely heard and supported. Together, we’ll work toward increasing self-awareness, identifying patterns that may be holding you back, and developing strategies that promote emotional balance and resilience.

You’ll gain skills to manage anxiety, depression, improve communication, set boundaries, and navigate life’s challenges more effectively. I aim to help you feel more empowered and confident in your ability to make meaningful changes—both in how you relate to yourself and in your relationships with others.

Each session is a space for growth, reflection, and forward movement at a pace that feels right for you.
