Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, trauma, and other mental health conditions affecting young people.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective treatment begins with building trust and creating a safe, supportive environment where children and adolescents feel comfortable expressing themselves. I take a collaborative, family-centered approach that values the perspectives of both the patient and their caregivers. By identifying communication barriers, exploring underlying concerns, and listening without judgment, I work to develop personalized treatment plans that support long-term growth and well-being. My goal is to empower young people with the tools, skills, and support they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our first appointment will include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, during which I will gather information about current concerns, symptoms, medical history, developmental milestones, family history, and previous mental health treatment. We will review any current or past medications, discuss their effectiveness, and explore the rationale behind previous treatment decisions. Together, we will create a treatment plan that may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, collaboration with therapists or other providers, and ongoing support tailored to your child’s needs. I strive to ensure that every patient and family feels informed, respected, and actively involved in the treatment process.
