Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with extensive experience leading and providing care in community-based mental health programs. I’ve spent many years working with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, work and family stress, and major life transitions.

As both a clinician and a leader, I value creating spaces where people feel seen, respected, and understood, especially those who may have felt overlooked in other systems. I’m particularly passionate about supporting women, professionals in helping roles, caregivers, and people of color who are balancing many responsibilities.

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and straightforward. I’ll bring clinical expertise, honesty, and compassion to our work together so you don’t have to go through this season of your life alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. We will start by understanding what brings you to therapy now and what “feeling better” would realistically look like for you. From there, we’ll set clear goals and work at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and strengths-based, relational work. In practical terms, that means we’ll look at how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect, build coping skills, and gently process the experiences that have shaped you.

I see you as the expert on your life; my role is to guide, reflect, and offer tools. I welcome conversations about culture, identity, and faith or spirituality if they’re important to you, and I aim to help you leave each session feeling more empowered, clearer, and less alone.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, supportive conversation where I learn about your concerns and goals. Together, we will begin creating a plan that supports your growth and sets the foundation for meaningful progress
