Great to meet you!

Hello and Welcome

With 30 years of experience as a licensed marriage, family therapist, my journey began at Sacramento California, where I first received my license and found my calling serving families within the community. Over time I found my way into private practice where my reach into the community grew and a deep passion for working with adults at various stages of their life emerged and one that has become central to my calling as a therapist.

Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to learning and growing alongside the field pursuing, continued education and certifications.

My clients often want to know a little about the person behind this practice. I am someone who loves to travel and spends time outdoors . Camping and water adventures are always my happy place and those who know me best will tell you with a knowing grin that I have never met an animal I didn’t love

I believe wholeheartedly that it is vital for me to live a congruent life, to bring my heart and desires into a living presence My passion to live with purpose, curiosity and joy is core to who I am and this is how I show up for my clients every single day.

From your very first visit, you will be received warmly with quiet encouragement and assurance that this is a safe relaxed welcoming space just for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach, to therapy is grounded in evidence based methods ; cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT) behavior modification and trauma informed care these frameworks help clients to identify their thought patterns and behaviors that are keeping them stuck and replace them with healthier more empowering ones. But beyond clinical methods, my approach is deeply human.

I believe that effective therapy must rest on three core functions, genuine human compassion, strong clinical expertise, and unwavering confidence that every client already carries within them, the insight and intelligence to find their own right path

I work with adults navigating relationship challenges anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, aging, life transitions, women, and men’s issues, stress and phases of life, dynamics, trauma, grief, and loss

My deepest intent within the therapy setting is to create a safe and affirming space where you can hear yourself clearly, trust what you find and move forward into the life you’re meant to live. If my experience and therapeutic approach resonate with where you are and what you are seeking, I warmly invite you to reach out

What you can expect from me

Choosing therapy matters. It is a meaningful and courageous step and here you will find a safe, supportive and welcoming space that is waiting for you. I bring to every session my full experience, a deep respect for your journey and a gentle regard for where you are in your life.

When you work with me, you can expect practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and various life transitions. You will learn to recognize triggers, quiet the inner critic, and move through life‘s pressures with a greater calm and clarity, relationships heal, pattern shift, and the weight that you have been carrying begins to lift opening the door to an inner wisdom and perspective that can be truly transformational. You will experience a therapeutic relationship with possibilities of powerful insight where struggle gives way to clarity and positive change is not only possible but very real.
