Great to meet you!

I believe that we live in a beautiful yet broken world and that support and connection help when we are lonely or struggling. I received my MSW degree from Smith College School for Social Work and have been a LICSW psychotherapist and advocate for 20+ years. I provide a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental atmosphere to help clients better understand themselves and things that create suffering in their lives.

My approach to therapy

With a relational, psychodynamic foundation and art therapy, narrative, sand tray and other expressive therapies, I help clients find solutions in ways that words can't always reach. I am trained in DBT and CBT in helping people heal from abuse and trauma and address complex relationships, identity issues, and parenting challenges. In working with children, I collaborate closely with parents/guardians to support them and their specific family needs.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a partnership-based approach in which I actively listen, support their goals, and provide practical skills they can apply to their everyday lives. They may also try creative ways to discover who they are and their place in the world, and find self-acceptance, connection, and joy.
