Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist with an additional Masters in Humanistic, Transpersonal Psychology. I enjoy working with adults and couples who are seeking deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, and lasting emotional change. I specialize in anxiety, relationship issues, communication, stress, life transitions, and personal growth. My style is warm, engaging, and insight oriented while offering practical tools that you can use immediately. I strive to create a space that feels safe, authentic, collaborative, and free of judgment. Clients often appreciate my balance of depth, compassion, creativity, knowledge, humor, and real-world perspectives.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when people feel comfortable being fully themselves. My approach is interactive, supportive, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. My style is warm, engaging, and insight oriented while remaining practical and outcome focused. I help clients explore and navigate anxiety, problematic patterns, improve communication, manage anxiety, calm stress, and create healthier relationships with themselves and others. I help people navigate life transitions while building greater confidence, clarity, and self-understanding. I integrate insight-oriented work with concrete tools that you can apply in your daily life and and in your relationships.

I am trained in Neuro Linguistic Psychology/Programing (NLP). It focuses on how the mind, language, and how habitual patterns shape emotion and behavior. NLP can help you identify and change limiting patterns, strengthen emotional resilience, improve communication, and support lasting personal change.

I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is an evidence-based therapy approach designed to help the brain process unresolved trauma and distressing experiences. The processing allows clients to feel less emotionally reactive, and more grounded, resilient, and empowered.

Overall, my goal is to help you achieve the changes you desire for you life. I am an avid learner and I am constantly reading, attending workshops, seminars, and gathering new information and insights. I do all of my learning with our human journey in mind and share new information with clients when it is relative to them.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is less about "fixing what's wrong" and more about helping you get in touch with your authentic self. I offer a space that is genuine, human, amd free of judgment. You do not have to perform, over-explain, or have it all figured out. We will slow things down, get curious, and help you gain clarity about where you are and what you wish to achieve. We will explore your best hopes for therapy and work collaboratively help you achieve your goals (which often change, and that's OK).
