Patricia Oeswein

Anne graduated from Louisiana State University, Monroe with a master’s degree in professional counseling.

She is an LPC and holds the license of Licensed Professional Counselor (License #71588), in the state of

Texas. Anne has received training in Trauma Focused-CBT and EMDR. Anne is certified through EAGALA as

an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist. She has 20 years’ experience working with teens (12-18 yr) and adults

suffering from low self-worth, anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma.

Anne operates from a Person-Centered approach, which means that she values the person sitting across

from her in session as someone who is capable of self-directed growth. She believes that we are all the

experts of our own lives, and only we can recognize the struggles we’ve faced. With empathy, unconditional-

positive regard, and authenticity, she trusts that her clients can develop a better sense of self-worth, trust

in themselves, and willingness to continue exploring life.

Anne believes strongly in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),

mindfulness and self-compassion strategies. She strives to create an environment where you feel

comfortable expressing yourself freely and offers a judgement free zone to release all emotions and

thoughts.
