Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Patricia (Patsy). I have thirty years of psychotherapy experience. I have worked in the public and private sectors. I have a Master's and a PhD in Counselor Education. My experience includes working with individuals who have experienced: substance abuse, depression, anxiety, stress, ADD/ADHD, chronic pain, adjustment issues, grief, PTSD, and childhood trauma/abuse, I enjoy working with clients who are looking for personal growth.

My approach to therapy

I have an eclectic approach to therapy. I have studied CBT, Humanistic and Gestalt therapy. I like to challenge early onset belief systems and work toward clients empowerment.

What you can expect from me

I like to start with a comprehensive review of childhood experiences. Sometimes this can be difficult, yet it is a vital piece to explore the themes that are present in our lives. By reviewing these themes, we can uncover how we make meaning from our experiences. This gives us choices and creates empowerment in our actions. I give homework in order to put the sessions work into change and action!
