I am a marriage and family therapist who enjoys working with couples at any stage of their relationship, and individuals (16+). I love seeing clients come into therapy and begin to uncover ways to grow and change and see therapy as a safe space to work through challenges.
As an MFT, I use the systemic perspective, which means I believe that we are who we are because of the relationships we are in. I believe that no matter where you are in life you are influenced by the people around you and often these relationships are the source of challenges and unhappiness.
Clients can expect to gain insight and see patterns in their lives which may not be clear to them initially. Clients can also expect me to share ideas and thoughts about how they might see things differently. While I can and have give homework, it isn't my go-to way of working with clients.
