Great to meet you!

I'm Trish — a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, personality disorders, and the kind of stuck-ness that can feel impossible to explain to someone who hasn't lived it. My background is deep in complex, high-stakes mental health work, and I bring that clinical grounding into a private practice setting that feels nothing like a clinical office. I work with adults who are genuinely ready to understand themselves better and make real changes. If you're looking for someone who will listen carefully and also tell you the truth, you're in the right place. I also accept several major insurance plans, so therapy doesn't have to mean a full out-of-pocket commitment.

My approach to therapy

I draw from evidence-based approaches — CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care — and I customize how I use them based on what actually fits you, not a protocol checklist. What that means in practice: I'm active in session. I'll ask follow-up questions, name what I'm observing, and respectfully push back when I think something deserves a harder look. That's not confrontation for its own sake — it's me taking your progress seriously. I also believe healing doesn't have to be relentlessly heavy. There's room for honesty and even humor in the process. What there isn't room for is stagnation — we'll keep checking in on whether what we're doing is actually working and adjust accordingly.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an intake form. We'll talk about what's been happening, what brought you to therapy now, and what you'd like to be different. You don't need to have a clear diagnosis or a list of goals — figuring that out together is part of the work. By the end, we'll both have a sense of whether I'm the right fit for you, and we can start mapping out what working together could look like. I offer Telehealth throughout Pennsylvania, so you can join from wherever you are — no commute, no waiting room.
