Great to meet you!

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” (Anais Nin)

I celebrate your efforts to take stock of your life, to take a deep breath, and to take the risk to reach out. Emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual pain, gives all of us an opportunity for healing, learning, and growth. Often what feels like something overwhelming and upsetting is about to give you Clarity. Making the first phone call is a significant first step.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a very individualized experience and a person's needs can change over time. I use an eclectic approach to provide treatment unique to your personality, world view, and needs. I effectively work with family-of-origin issues, addictions/ loving someone with an addiction, ADD/ADHD, life transition and situational events, trauma & PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, chronic illness, self-management and behavior change, relationship issues, and repeating unhealthy patterns and choices.

What you can expect from me

We will work together to find solutions, seek resolution, and develop coping tools and strategies to gain self-understanding and find relief. I provide a safe environment for openness and self-exploration. You will be able to ask questions about therapy, about treatment goals, and the therapeutic process on-going. This is a safe place for you to say what you need to say and to be who you are, uncensored.

This is your time to focus on you and to feel better.
