Over 15yrs as a therapist has taught me the importance of meeting clients exactly where they are in life. My areas of expertise are in Substance Abuse and other Addictions; including couples/families impacted. Although my expertise is in the area of addiction: I am also proficient in other mental health diagnosis. Certified for court ordered assessments

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. During the first session we will explore what brought you to therapy and develop a plan for success. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts are connected to your emotions and behaviors. During treatment, I will assist in identifying negative thinking patterns and develop a plan for how to dispute those thoughts in order to feel better.

The first session will involve an evaluation of symptoms and a plan to address them in a manner that will help you get your life back on track. You will leave with at least one coping skill you can use right away to begin the journey to healing
