Recognizing the need for help is an important first step. In fact, rather than acknowledging a weakness, it is a sign of strength. I want to help you to build on that strength to achieve success in the areas you are struggling with.
I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas for my BA in Psychology followed by the University of Phoenix for an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. I've been in private practice since 2010 and filled various roles int the counseling/mental health field since my BA was obtained and after licensure. If you are 15 or older and the questions or issues you want to address fall within the specialties I've identified, we could very well be a good match. If I suspect I cannot help you, I will say so and help you find a referral.
Specializing in relationship dynamics, I invite individuals, couples, and families to improve communication, resolve conflict, and build skills to manage anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and more. Christian counseling, men's issues, and family roles are additional areas of special focus I provide. I believe in personal responsibility, the reality of options at your disposal, and your ability to make decisions that are good for you with clarity. Ownership results in liberty. I would be working with you to help things make more sense and see a path forward
In our first session together, we will start with a brief introduction, then dive into the challenges you are facing. This will help us create a tailored plan to work through in follow-up sessions. A big part of that process is you being able to recognize your strengths, sharpen your discernment about yourself and your circumstances, and increase the clarity needed to see these things realistically.
