Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works primarily with adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are balancing demanding roles—professionally or personally—and are looking for a more thoughtful, structured approach to therapy that leads to meaningful, day-to-day change. I also work with couples and families around communication, relationship strain, and periods of transition.

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and mindfulness-informed. I focus on helping you understand how patterns of thinking, emotion, and behavior are shaping your experience, while offering practical tools to support change. Therapy with me is active and goal-oriented, but also flexible—grounded in what matters most to you rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

I have over 25 years of experience in mental health and hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami. My background includes clinical work across a range of settings as well as senior leadership roles in public health and behavioral health systems. This allows me to bring both clinical depth and a broader perspective to the work, integrating evidence-based approaches with individualized care. I maintain a limited caseload to provide responsive, individualized care, so availability can be limited at times. If it feels like a good fit, we can talk about next steps from there.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and mindfulness-informed. I work with clients to understand how patterns of thinking, emotion, and behavior are contributing to challenges like anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, and relationship strain. From there, we focus on making changes that are practical, intentional, and aligned with what matters most to you.

I tend to be active and engaged in sessions. I’ll offer perspective, ask direct questions, and help you connect insights to real-world changes. At the same time, the work is flexible—there’s no one-size-fits-all model. Some clients benefit from structured, goal-oriented work, while others need space to slow down, reflect, and build clarity over time.

Across all of this, the focus is on helping you feel more grounded, more in control of your responses, and better equipped to navigate the demands of your life—whether that’s work, relationships, or major transitions.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get a clear understanding of what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping will be different. We’ll talk about the challenges you’re facing—whether that’s anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, or a specific life transition—as well as the broader context of your life, including work, relationships, and any past experience with therapy.

I’ll ask questions to help identify patterns and priorities, and we’ll start to outline what a useful path forward could look like. This isn’t just information gathering—I aim for the first session to feel immediately helpful, with some initial clarity or direction by the end.

Just as important, the first session is an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work. Therapy is a collaborative process, and it’s important that it feels like a good fit. If it does, we’ll talk about next steps and what ongoing work together might look like.
